Frequently Asked Questions

We've tried to answer below some of the questions our customers often ask us, if the answer to your particular query is not here then please contact us - it might well get added to this page!


Question:   What exactly is reclaimed wood?
Answer :     It's timber that has been rescued from old buildings, such as mills, chapels and farm buildings etc. that are being renovated.


Question:   What woods do you use?
Answer:     Mainly pine, elm and oak, but we may be able to get other woods, subject to availability.


Question:   How quickly can you make my table/dresser etc.?
Answer:     We keep some standard sizes in stock for immediate delivery.   For everything else we aim to complete pieces within four weeks of the order, but it is dependant upon the availability of raw materials and current workload in the workshop.


Question:   What do you charge for delivery?
Answer:   We deliver for free within a 20 mile radius, further than that we tend to add it into the quote. Of course, you may come and collect by prior arrangement.  


Question:   Can you match the colour of the furniture to that already in the room?
Answer:   We can supply our products in a wide range of shades and will do our best to match the exisitng room contents, but of course an exact match cannot be guaranteed.  


Question:   Can I really have my furniture made to whatever size I want?
Answer:     Yes, really!
